In the original manga series “Hunter x Hunter,” Chapter 357, Hisoka Morow nearly died during his fight with Chrollo Lucilfer in Heaven’s Arena, but he later revived himself. However, this scene has not been animated in the 2011 anime series or any other adaptations of “Hunter x Hunter”. Therefore, Hisoka remains alive within the scope of the aired anime episodes.
Chrollo Lucilfer, leader of the Phantom Troupe, his ability is “Skill Theft”, allowing him to steal and use other people’s abilities. This makes him capable of adopting a variety of attack modes, making him highly unpredictable. In this battle, he successfully stole and used several of the abilities of other hunters, making his attack almost indefensible.
As for Hisoka Morow, his main strength lies in his Transmutation abilities; “Bungee Gum”, which allows him to stretch his Nen like a rubber band or glue, and “Texture Surprise”, that lets him change the appearance and touch of a substance.
